Greetings fellow cat fanatics!
My name is Gemma, and I've been kindly allowed to write a post for this lovely blog so thankyou for having me!
First things first, a little bit about me. I live in the UK on the south coast with my 4 lovely cats and have a massive love for cross stitch and speciality stitch work. I've only been stitching for a year now and it keeps me happy and occupied. I've stitched a couple of cat patterns, and I'd like to share the finished pictures with you if I may.

I have a mad passion for Heritage Crafts designs- their crazy version of half stitches, straddled cross stitches really grabbed my attention when I started stitching. This little lass looks exactly like my Mum's kitten, Sox.

Yup, another Heritage Crafts piece! This was actually the first time I stitched on evenweave and fell in love with this type of fabric. I framed this myself which was an amusing and delightful experience- delightful because I didn't end up in knots and it doesn't look too bad!

Told you I have big love for Heritage Crafts ;) Who couldn't resist this little fuzzball- even though he looks like he has a bit of a squint (dodgy backstitching on my part)!
And, last but not least....

This is my latest finish, 12x12 inches on 14 count Aida. I have yet to frame it, and I will be giving it to my cat-loving grandparents.
Well, that's all from me folks, thanks for letting me share some of my cat pieces with you. I am looking forward to seeing your completed cat pieces!
Hope you have a purrrrfect week (bad pun)!
With love, Gemma x x
